Submissions & Publishing Rights

By submitting work to The Scriptorium, contributors agree to the following:
Contributors retain full copyright to their original work.
The Scriptorium requests first serial rights to publish accepted work in print and/or PDF format.
These rights are non-exclusive and revert to the creator upon publication.
We reserve the right to archive and continue distributing issues (digital or physical) after initial release.
We reserve the right to publish accepted pieces on our website or social media.
We reserve the right to lightly edit submissions for formatting, grammar, or clarity, but will never alter the spirit or message of the work. Significant edits will be discussed with the creator in advance.

Privacy Policy

We value your privacy. If you submit your email through our forms or subscribe to our updates:
We will only use your information to contact you about submissions, magazine news, or updates you’ve opted into.
We will never sell or share your information with third parties.

Store & Refund Policy

We offer both digital and print editions of The Scriptorium for purchase.
If your print copy arrives damaged or does not arrive, please contact us within 30 days for a replacement or refund.
If you experience an issue with your digital download, let us know—we’re happy to help resolve it.

We use Google Forms to manage submissions. Please note that any information you submit is also subject to Google’s privacy policy.
